Programmes open to application for full time studies:
- Two-Year Programme towards matriculation
- One-Year Foundation consisting of selected modules from the two-year programme
Deadline for submission is Wednesday, May 24th before midnight.
VISUAL ARTS: TWO-YEAR PROGRAMME TOWARDS MATRICULATION
Information about the programme
Admission Requirements:
- Applicants must have finished at least 60 secondary school credits, 30 credits at second level; 10 in Icelandic, 10 in English, 5 in Danish and 5 in mathematics, and a minimum of 30 elective credits in languages, humanities, or humanities sciences.
- An entrance examination is an integral part of the application process. An admissions committee reviews the application and assesses the test results.
For an application to be valid, you need:
- To submit a passport photo with the digital application.
- To pay an application fee of ISK 15.000 (not refundable).
- To allow the school to have access to your study process in the Inna system (select the checkbox in the application) if the study process is recorded there. If your study process is not registered in the Inna system, certified digital copies of the study process records or files must be uploaded with the application.
2023-2024 Tuition fee: The annual total for the Visual Arts Two-year programme towards matriculation is 248.000 ISK or 124.000 ISK per semester.

- Applicants have completed the matriculated education requirements.
- An entrance examination is an integral part of the application process.
- An admissions committee reviews the application and assesses the test results.
