The concept of this piece was for me to capture the essence and visuals of someone else’s dream. Dreams were always fascinating to me specifically for the range it has, there is no limit. I asked my brother to write down and tell me a specific dream he’s had in detail. I wanted to capture that range a dream has by trying to recreate
specific colors or forms through video feedback, photography, music etc. I was always very paranoid about making a very cliche or classic dream sequence as seen in many films. I wanted to stray away from that as far as possible and really try to capture this very random, almost euphoric state. The end result is two scenes side by side, one of the subject in deep sleep and the other, the dream the subject is dreaming.
